Scotch whisky is a significant contributor to Scotland’s economy, with exports reaching record levels in recent years. In 2023, exports exceeded $5.6 Billion for the first time, marking a 31% increase over the previous five years. This equated to approximately 1.35 billion 70cl bottles, or about 43 bottles exported every second.
